Optimal solutions providedAfter using it for a while I came to the conclusion is always a success having a list to save products for later so we can be sure our customers do not get lost in our catalogue and forgrt about the items they really wanted or liked since this has been affecting our sales until we've decided to use the plugin. I must say it did not work very well with our theme but we've tried YITH Proteo theme and works perfectly now

No the plugin doesn’t manage product inventory meaning that it doesn’t reduce the available quantity when you set a product in “save for later”.
If you combine it with YITH Wishlist the user will be able to create and manage multiple wishlists but there’s no way to have multiple save-for-later lists. Yet the two plugins are integrated so your users can easily move products from Save-for-later box to any of their wishlists.
No the plugin works only with standard products (simple and variable ones)
Yes the plugin includes the shortcode [yith_wsfl_saveforlater] You can read more about it here.
No unfortunately the Save for Later button can only be displayed on the Cart page.
