No unfortunately not at the moment but our development team have already planned to add it to a future update.
Yes the plugin offers exactly what you need it includes this shortcode [yith_most_viewed_products] that shows most viewed products by all site visitors and customers.
No Mandrill is not essential although it is recommended. Plugin works well also without it however if you need to send a huge quantity of emails we suggest you to use Mandrill which is already integrated therefore you don’t need any other plugin to use it
you only need a Mandrill account.
Yes you can enable an email notification and customize the text the products to show and even add a coupon code to encourage your users to purchase more. You can read more details about this email notification here.
